How To: Retrieve Your Past W2's From The IRS

The folloiwng is a step-by-step guide on how to retrieve your past W2's from the IRS.

Step One: Go to www.irs.gov

Step Two: On the home page under the "How can we help you?" section, select "Get your tax records and transcripts" (see screenshot below)

Step Three: Click "Sign in to your online account" (see screenshot below)

Note -- If you do not have an ID.Me account set up already, you will have to create one. 

Step Four: Once you sign in, it will take you to your transcripts. Look for the box that says "Wage & Income Transcripts". You can download any W2 from the last 10 years.
